ESB Yoda parts finally arrived.

I received the Yoda parts this past weekend.

The kit consist of a resin head, with separate ears, hands , feet, cane, and flute.

The rest will have to be made from scratch (body structure, robe, inner robe, belt) and glass eyes will have to be ordered. The originals were made by Cantor & Nissel, a company based in the UK which worked on The Empire Strikes Back.

The level of accuracy and likeness is really impressive. There is life in this sculpt.

Unfortunately, the bottom of the head was slightly damaged during the flight, but nothing too serious as it will be easy to repair and the neck will be hidden underneath the inner robe.

This work of art was sculpted by a very talented artisan from the UK going by the name of CYBERMAN.

A new latex head, slightly re-sculpted by Cyberman will soon be released/showed and I'm looking forward to receiving one of those as well as a secret casting of one of my favorite character.

Cyberman was told by Nick Maley, a UK industry professional who worked with Stuart Freeborn , the creator of the original Yoda, that the head was sculpted around Frank Oz's hand and forearm.........(more to come)
